Invisible 04:43
You can't remember my name even though you recognise my face all that loss of memory seems like such a waste of a life lived that's worthy while it tries to escape but there's no need to worry about unnecessary pain. Being old isn't fun I bet you'd like to say your goodbyes again being old isn't fun I bet you'd like to break down and cry again. You need a someone to help you up and your kids are all waiting around you have to take several moments to try and recognise sound like the song that you hear on the radio that you heard for the first time so long ago how you wish that you could hum it one last time because you know that it's not long until it goes. Being old isn't fun I bet you'd like to say your goodbyes again being old isn't fun I bet you'd like to break down and cry again. You won't let go of those memories you thought you could keep as you're drifting further upstream you're invisible lost in your dream. Being old isn't fun I bet you'd like to say your goodbyes again being old isn't fun I bet you'd like to break down and die.

I am a poem and you are a song written on pages but forgotten in time. I am the hospital you were once born thanking the doctor for making you mine. So don't let your worried man sing softly alone in the dark take him by his worried hand and tell him that it will be fine. I am the colours and your are the words that describe them to unknowing children. I am the tune that can never be heard by anyone other than you. So don't let my songs become things that will help with you living no more a reflection of all that has gone and what it has meant to me. I am a tree that stands tall in a wood and you are the leaves that will never fall counting my rings will determine my age but it will not tell you how long I have lived. So don't go chopping me down because children will one day be swinging, swinging and singing right under my feet and hiding so they can be found. I am the daydream you constantly have the one with the beautiful ending. You are the book where I write down my dreams every line is a freckle every page is a truth so don't let that dream that you have turn to nightmare as soon as it's ending and read through the pages I wrote down for you and see if our dreams are the same.

The sight of my heart exhausted especially when we fight. How do I make this right? We both agree that the problem stems from a fabulous love a hand that's lost in a glove the shadows that fall are masking the joy and blinding our amorous eyes. But you and I we talk of solutions we'll push until the sunshine returns and wrestle with fire that burns and know we'll each take in turns to wrap up the other in blissful forgiveness and watch as the sunshine returns. Because you and I both know this solar eclipse it only happens on phones and when we're together and we can make love and I hear your exquisite moans and take in your wondrous tones and breath in the essence of why we exist and please each other once more. But you and I we talk of solutions we'll push until the sunshine returns and wrestle with fire that burns and know we'll each take in turns to shoulder the blame and capture the future and wrap it up safe as a bird whose cage is a wonderful home with all that it needs to exist and to prosper and it will never need to go and we will just move to and fro and hope that we never let go keep believing in all that we know keep reading the map as we go. But you and I we talk of solutions we'll push until the sunshine returns and wrestle with fire that burns and know we'll each take in turns to carry the wind as it blows to look through the windows we own to cry into night times alone to find us a wonderful home.

Loneliness fits like a glove and when it's cold I wear you like a scarf and you will keep me warm. So we should drift into the snow and I'd write words and you would only laugh because that is when you are at your best. So let us look back at the map that was drawn the first night that we kissed by someone else and you might call him Lord and he will be whatever you want him to be. So I'll arrest my jealous heart and lock him up and never let him free to trouble you again. And we'll keep picking at the holes until they're filled with pieces of our love and we'll forget what's on the other side. So let the compliments begin and pass the truth from your lips onto mine because all I know is how gracefully divine our love is and will always be. Well I don't know who made you but they must have broke the mould so if you kiss my heart then I will kiss your soul. So I will serenade my friend and send her smiles on nights when she's alone and feeling down. And though I want to fix her heart when nothing's broke she'll always let me try because she knows what I am trying to be. And one day we'll make a pact to understand the things we cannot see and we will try to let each other be whatever we think we should be. And I don't know who made me or the secrets that they told but if you let me steal your heart then I'll let you steal my soul.

It's the gestures that you make It's your accidental timing It's the pictures that we take It's your love that I can see It's the mother that you'll make It's the woman that you are to me It's the time that I will take As I watch your windows preciously So don't let go of all those hopes because I won't make you late until it's time for poetry until there's no mistake. It's only one more break Those we hit the open road I'm sorry if I fake Those apologies I told So don't let go of all those hopes because I won't make you late until it's time for poetry until there's no mistake.
